About Lana'i
Lana'i City is an unpretentious little plantation town that
grew up in the '20's. Fortunate for its residents, it hasn't changed
much since.
"Hawaii's Most Enticing Island." Formerly known as the "Pineapple Island," almost the entire island was, until recently, a Dole Company pineapple plantation. But it is now phasing in tourism and new homes/condos. It is also home to two world class resorts and golf courses. Learn more...

The future of Internet radio is in immediate danger. Royalty rates for webcasters have been drastically increased by a recent ruling and are due to go into effect on May 15. If the increased rates remain unchanged, the majority of webcasters will go silent on this date.
We asked Steve Shaw, owner of Lana'i Sounds about the immediate crisis facing Internet Radio and what's to come in the future.
